In ancient Greek Mythology & religion, Asclepius was a hero & god of medicine. He is the son of the Greek god Apollo. He represents the healing aspect of medical arts of Ancient & Classical Greece. The rod of Asclepius is a symbol of medicine even today.

The majority of my family works or worked in or around the medical field in some form or fashion. I have the weakest stomach. They start sharing horror stories and I'm doing my best to keep my stomach in check while my body convulses violently.
