The wind flying tree

Scandinavian inspired art of a unicorn, castle, prince princes and a lot of trees. I didn’t use traditional colors with this one instead I used a more modern palette yellow, white, and grey. This piece feels like a folk story

Built while watching a movie marathon this landscape was made out of the silhouette of a tree trunk. It was a ton of fun to make this one in photoshop in honor of nature and the most beautiful part of the landscape

Everything is connected. Everything is Energy. The Earth sustains us the way it nurtures the trees in the ever renewing circle of life. Trees are sacred to many religions and I totally understand why - they give us oxygen which truly is Life. The roots of trees go deep into the Earth. Science now tells us that trees communicate with each other thru their roots proving the old magical belief that everything is connected. This gorgeous art depicts a Tree of Life, roots reaching deep into the earth while it's branches reach for the moon shows us the Circle of Life and reminds us to appreciate the natural world around us and plant more trees.

Inspired by the hopeful symbolism of the film Children of Men, I created this design to give reference to the condensing familial lines inherent in a post-sterilized world. As families grow smaller, so does the hope of our continued existence. But, there is one shining ray of hope and that is the key to everything; a new beginning to a new generation.
