Description: Experiencing this in any job, including English teachers and English students, is a global frustration. Technology is intended to help us write better, yet it often feels like an arrogant assistant that refuses to listen. Whether you're typing feedback on an essay, drafting a report, or texting a professor about an absence, autocorrect always steps in uninvited. It boldly changes your perfectly fine words into nonsense. Suddenly, your professional message includes a request for bricks instead of documents. It takes more time to fix the helpful suggestions than it would take to just type it out manually from scratch. We leave the errors hoping people understand we're smarter than our phones make us look overall every day.
