Chesty Hats
Description: Chesty Foods was founded in 1943 by George Johnson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Despite containing just three ingredients, it took George a little over a year to perfect his recipe, which included his top secret cooking and seasoning process and began selling them in limited quantities locally. Those who tasted them couldn't get enough, so George built a new plant in Terre Haut, Indiana, and the first bags of Chesty potato chips rolled off the line and headed to stores throughout the Midwest on December 5th, 1945. The company mascot, Chesty Boy, was created to show the company's pride in the potato chips it produced, and was synonymous with the brand's tagline - "The food it's fun to eat!
