Description: William Edward Burghardt "W. E. B." Du Bois ( February 23, 1868 – August 27, 1963) was an American sociologist, historian, civil rights activist, Pan-Africanist, author and editor. Born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, Du Bois grew up in a relatively tolerant and integrated community. After completing graduate work at the University of Berlin and Harvard, where he was the first African American to earn a doctorate, he became a professor of history, sociology and economics at Atlanta University. Du Bois was one of the co-founders of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in 1909.

The Collective argued that both the white feminist movement and the Civil Rights Movement were not addressing their particular needs as Black women and, more specifically, as Black lesbians. Description: This picture of the Great Mother Goddess Hathor is art by Leon Jean Joseph Dubois (1780-1846) who was hired by the famed Egyptologist, Jean-François Champollion, to illustrate his book, Pantheon Egyptien. Champollion was one of the first Egyptologists to successfully use the Rosetta Stone in order to decipher Egyptian language and symbolism. The original image (before my artistic enhancement) is in the public domain and made available courtesy of Rawpixel. FYI, per Drunvalo Melchizedek, Hathor refers to a race of beings who live on Venus in the fourth dimension. They function purely through love and sound.
