Enterprise Cv 6 Hats
Description: The USS Enterprise (CV-6), nicknamed "The Big E," was a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier launched in 1936 and commissioned in 1938, serving as a central asset in the Pacific Theater during World War II. She participated in more major actions against Japan than any other U.S. ship, including the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Battle of Midway, the Battle of the Eastern Solomons, the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands, the Guadalcanal campaign, the Battle of the Philippine Sea, and the Battle of Leyte Gulf
Description: Planes launch off the flight deck as sunrise meets a swirling Van Gogh-style night sky in this tribute to the USS Enterprise CV-6, smoke still trailing from her stack after another Pacific campaign. The most decorated carrier of WWII gets a starry salute for naval aviation history buffs.
