Description: We couldn’t think of anyone better to portray The Empress in our Ghoulish Edition of the card than a sexy, seductive vampiress. Above her head sits a crown of twelve stars, representing the twelve zodiac signs and signifying her connection to the metaphysical realm. She is positioned in an open space within nature to express her connection to the natural realm. The seductive manner of her body accompanied by the symbol of Venus around her neck suggests that this vampiress possesses characteristics of feminine fertility and sexuality.
