Hold Fast Hats
Description: Giant kelp in the oceans do not have roots. Instead what they have is a structure that resembles roots called a holdfast. (Another interesting fact: they don't have leaves either, they have blades!) When I first learned about kelp and their holdfasts I immediately thought of the words being formed by the tangled mass reminding one to "hold fast". I've printed this hand-carved lino print by hand then scanned it to make this design.
