Description: Tatooine was a sparsely inhabited circumbinary desert planet located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories. Part of a binary star system, the planet orbited two scorching suns, resulting in the world lacking the necessary surface water to sustain large populations. As a result, many residents of the planet instead drew water from the atmosphere via moisture farms. The planet also had little surface vegetation. It was the homeworld to the native Jawa and Tusken Raider species and of Anakin and Luke Skywalker, who would go on to shape galactic history.
Description: JAWA was a motorcycle manufacturer founded in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1929 by František Janeček, who bought the motorcycle division of Wanderer and by concatenating the first letters of Janeček and Wanderer, created the name JAWA. By the 1950s, JAWA was one of the top motorcycle manufacturers in the world and exported its popular model 350 Pérák into over 120 countries. The 350 California achieved similar popularity in the 1970s and you could spot them in their typical red and black livery everywhere from Californian beaches to Auckland city streets. By 1990 increasing competition from Japanese manufacturers had finally taken its toll on the company and production ceased, but to this day enthusiasts remain quite active.
Description: Tosche Station was a power station and repair shop on the outskirts of Anchorhead on the desert world of Tatooine, owned by Merl Tosche and operated by Laze Loneozner.[1] During the time of the Galactic Civil War, Loneozner was friends with Luke Skywalker and Biggs Darklighter, who, prior to becoming a member of the Rebel Alliance, spent time at the station with Lonezner, his girlfriend Camie Marstrap, and other youth from Anchorhead.[2] After witnessing a battle between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire in the skies over Tatooine, Skywalker told his friends about what he had seen, but they did not believe it had been a battle.
