Lisbon District Hats
Description: A detailed illustration of the Lisbon cityscape depicting traditional yellow trams navigating narrow streets. The composition includes historical architecture, terracotta roofs, and the suspension bridge spanning the river. This visual represents the Portuguese capital and its urban layout throughout.
Description: This is an image of The Sanctuary of Christ the King (Santuário de Cristo Rei), a Catholic monument and shrine dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ overlooking the city of Lisbon. It is located on top of an isolated hill in the Almada district about 135 m above the sea and overlooking the Tagus River left bank. It was inspired by the Christ the Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The project was inaugurated in May 1959. The giant cement statue was erected to express gratitude because the Portuguese were spared the effects of World War II. It is the highest point in Almada on a plateau dominated by the 25 de Abril Bridge (images coming soon). All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II...
