Protests & demonstrations against TMT are happening around the world to stop the building of the 30 Meter Telescope. The gesture of putting your fingers together to form a mountain has become a symbol of support & solidarity for Mauna Kea & the rights of indigenous people everywhere. I drew the modern art style hands with only one line & hand lettered Mauna Kea above it. I wanted to create a more handmade and organic design that showed my aloha or love for Mauna Kea.
