Description: The Hat in the Ring Squadron refers to the 94th Aero Squadron, which became a symbol of the American Air Service during World War I. Its emblem, the "Hat in the Ring," represented the spirit of daring and challenge, as pilots would "throw their hat in the ring" to signify their willingness to engage in combat . The squadron is notable for its association with famous air aces, including Eddie Rickenbacker, and continues to carry on its legacy in modern military aviation
Description: A flock takes flight from twelve shimmering strings. Inspired by the jangling folk-rock spirit, psychedelic horizons, and unmistakable 12-string sound associated with The Byrds and Roger McGuinn, this original retro-style illustration turns guitar strings into a migrating flock of birds. Designed with a 1960s poster sensibility, vintage print texture, and clean psychedelic vector shapes — a little folk, a little rock, and a whole lot of California sky.
