Description: Carmen Miranda, the Brazilian Bombshell, was one of the first original pop icons. She made all of her own floral/fruit hats, wore platform heels in the 1940s, and was imitated by Mickey Rooney, Jerry Lewis, Lucille Ball and Daffy Duck among others.
