Description: Destro is one of the most cunning foes the Joe Team has ever faced. He is the power behind M.A.R.S. (Military Armament Research Syndicate), one of the largest manufacturer of state-of-the-art weaponry. His business is fueled by inciting unstable countries to wage wars against each other and then getting them to purchase weapons from him. To him, war is simply man's expression of his most natural state. It is the perfect example of where the fittest survive and where many technological advances are made. His biggest client, thus far, is Cobra with whom he maintains an alliance of convenience. Despite being a manipulative person, Destro maintains a sense of honor and actually respects the Joe Team for their skills or expertise.

Description: For at least 40,000 years, Nemesis Enforcer was the man Golobulus turned to for military or enforcement tasks. He was first seen capturing a couple of dozen G.I.Joes who’d pursued the Cobra Commander into Cobra-La. Enforcer “fetched” the fleeing Commander himself. Nemesis Enforcer subsequently took a hand in releasing Serpentor from G.I.Joe custody.
Description: As ruler of the secret race of Cobra-La, Golobulus has lived for centuries, possibly even as long as a million years. His people have perfected the bio-technology that it has guaranteed him near-immortality. They have replaced just about every part of his body at many points in his lifetime that his brain and central nervous system are all that remain of the original. He believes that he must survive at all costs so that his people may rise as the dominant species of Earth. He utterly despises Homo sapiens with every fiber of his being and will let nothing get in the way of his goals.
Description: For this piece, I created an old school medical chart, simplifying the dreaded "Brain Cloud," Joe Banks's condition in Joe Versus the Volcano. I first drew it with just the cloud, but it was missing something. Then I realized what it needed was the iconic lightning bolt shape that continuously appears in the film. I decided to use this recurring "crooked path" symbol as the glue that ties together the three pieces in the collection, just as it ties together the various themes in the film.

Description: Zartan is a master of make-up and disguise. Very little is known of his background, but he is suspected to have received European military academy training at St. Cyr. Zartan can alter his skin color at will to blend in with his environment and is a practitioner of several mystic martial arts. He is also a ventriloquist, a polyglot (speaking over 20 languages and dialects), and an acrobatic contortionist. Zartan and the Dreadnoks have also been known to use holographic technology and other means to disguise themselves.

Description: The Flagg was commanded by Admiral Keel-Haul and included a fueling tractor and fuel trailer. A deck sound system allowed you to simulate real flight deck announcements and commands to simulate the feel of an actual naval carrier's operations and battle alerts. Many collectors who have kept this expansive playset have customized it into larger iterations that include detailed below deck storage and living quarter dioramas. Be a Real Holiday Hero, Yo Joe!
Description: The Dreadnoks are a fictional biker gang from the G.I. Joe universe who are affiliated with Cobra as shock troops, offering their mercenary services as subordinates of their leader, Zartan. All Dreadnoks are uncouth and violent, and usually engage their enemies with unconventional and creative (many times crude) weaponry. Most, if not all, have shown a particular taste for chocolate-covered donuts and grape soda. The Dreadnoks also make a habit of torturing captured enemies, usually in bizarre ways such as exposure to pain-inducing laughing gas or tossing victims into pools of man-eating piranhas. Their headquarters is a compound hidden somewhere in the Florida Everglades.
Description: The third of three pieces in my Joe Versus the Volcano collection is my personal favorite. I love to use silhouettes in my art (can you tell?) and I was happy that my drawing of Tom Hanks came out fairly recognizable in silhouette profile. The scene is a depiction of Joe serenading the unconscious Patricia while stranded in the ocean on his "tight-as-a-drum" luggage, which is one of my most beloved moments in the film.
