The Rockets played in the Pacific Coast Hockey League from 1946 to 1952, before becoming a member of the Western Hockey League for a single final season from 1952 to 1953. The company would eventually give way to national brands some time in the ’90s, and is now largely remembered for their early TV commercials featuring a puppet mascot.
