West Germany Hats
Description: The Motocross des Nations is an annual motocross race held since 1947. Great Britain, Belgium, and Sweden dominated the racing series in the early days, but just like the "Miracle on Ice" shocked the hockey world in 1980, the U.S. team turned motocross upside down at the 1981 des Nations event. The U.S. had never won or even come close to winning, and with such a bad record, assembling riders for a team was tough to say the least. It was so tough, that the U.S. didn't even send teams in '79 and '80. 1981 was a different story, as America showed up, and when the flag dropped, Team U.S.A. shocked the racing world as they won Trophée des Nations. The 1981 event was the start of a winning streak at des Nations that lasted until 1994.

Description: This long-exposure photograph of Berlin’s Moltke Bridge was taken on the night of 26 March 2016 using a NIKON D90 (lens: SIGMA 18.0–50.0 mm f/2.8). The Moltke Bridge is located in Berlin’s government district in the Tiergarten neighbourhood. The Moltke Bridge is a road and footbridge with a load-bearing steel structure resting on stone piers; it spans the River Spree in Berlin’s Mitte district, which here forms part of Moabit. The bridge, clad in red sandstone, connects Willy-Brandt-Straße (until January 1998: Moltkestraße), which runs across it, with Alt-Moabit, thereby linking the government and parliamentary district in the Spreebogen in the Tiergarten district with Moabiter Werder and the main railway station in the Moabit district.

Murit's custom bike the prototype for the Mammut, Münch's four-cylinder motorcycle using an NSU automobile engine. These road racing machines were hand-built to order, making the Münch Mammut the fastest, most powerful, and most expensive bike of its time and with only around 500 units built between 1966 and 1975, the Mammut remains an extremely rare motorcycle to this day.
