As a master of disguise, he has employed both practical and technological means of deceit, utilizing makeup and holographics. In addition to disguise, he is an expert in ventriloquism, a versatile linguist and escape artist. Description: Zartan is a master of make-up and disguise. Very little is known of his background, but he is suspected to have received European military academy training at St. Cyr. Zartan can alter his skin color at will to blend in with his environment and is a practitioner of several mystic martial arts. He is also a ventriloquist, a polyglot (speaking over 20 languages and dialects), and an acrobatic contortionist. Zartan and the Dreadnoks have also been known to use holographic technology and other means to disguise themselves.
Description: Of all the Dreadnoks, Road Pig may be the most fearsome of them all. With his immense strength, violent temper and antisocial behavior, he should have been a natural member of that infamous group of bikers. Yet, he was considered as too obnoxious and smelling worse than the other Dreadnoks care to be. He should have of gotten the boot right from the get go but, like the outlaw gang that took him in before them, they found it hard to say no to him. To placate him, they had to put him in "probationary status", making him the only member to have ever undergone this process. Right now, he's so obnoxious that they would like to kick him out but they still have yet to figure out how.

Description: The Dreadnoks are a fictional biker gang from the G.I. Joe universe who are affiliated with Cobra as shock troops, offering their mercenary services as subordinates of their leader, Zartan. All Dreadnoks are uncouth and violent, and usually engage their enemies with unconventional and creative (many times crude) weaponry. Most, if not all, have shown a particular taste for chocolate-covered donuts and grape soda. The Dreadnoks also make a habit of torturing captured enemies, usually in bizarre ways such as exposure to pain-inducing laughing gas or tossing victims into pools of man-eating piranhas. Their headquarters is a compound hidden somewhere in the Florida Everglades.

Specializing in violence and destruction, the Dreadnoks have no regard for anyone or anything but themselves and fast money. Their diet consists of little more than chocolate-covered donuts and grape soda.
Description: In a desperate attempt to keep Cobra functioning and solvent, Cobra Commander packages Zartan and the Dreadnoks as a heavy metal band called "Cold Slither," proving that there really isn't much mercenaries won't do for money. Baroness explains that her plan is to slip subliminal messages into their album so that Cobra will be able to lull the minds of every listener into supporting them. Of course, like all of Cobra's plans, things don't go as planned, and the Joe's turn the tables on them in the end, making Cold Slither nothing more than a footnote in rock history.
