Battle of Britain Vintage Design - The Battle of Britain lasted from 10th of July to 31st of October 1940. This design features the Mk.1 Spitfire used by RAF Fighter Command in the Conflict, along with a quote from Winston Churchill's legendary wartime speech: "Never, in the field of human conflict, was so much owed by so many to so few."

A pale 'faded' version of the Type D. This was sometimes used when applied over anti-flash white. An intermediate (less faded) pale version was applied to some Vickers Valiants prior to the introduction of the definitive Type D 'faded' shading.

Used by units under South East Asia Command and in the CBI theatre in 1942. Red removed to avoid confusion with the Japanese hinomaru, but retained on fin flash. Not used for very long before being replaced by light blue and dark blue roundel.

The de Havilland Tiger Moth is a British biplane designed by Geoffrey de Havilland and built by the de Havilland Aircraft Company. The Tiger Moth was operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF) and other operators as a primary trainer aircraft during the Second World War. It was also used for maritime surveillance and defensive anti-invasion preparations, and some aircraft were even outfitted to function as armed light bombers.

The Rolls-Royce Merlin is a British liquid-cooled V-12 piston aero engine of 27-litre (1,650 cu in) capacity. Rolls-Royce designed the engine and first ran it in 1933 as a private venture. Initially known as the PV-12, it was later called Merlin following the company convention of naming its four-stroke piston aero engines after birds of prey. The engine benefitted from the racing experiences of precursor engines in the 1930s.
