It was a two-week event held annually at Navy Pier that featured sixteen stages, each sponsored by a national brand and a local radio station sponsor, that broadcasted live from their respective stages. The stages were: Rock, Classic Rock, Country, Blues, Comedy, Roller Disco, Pin Ball Arcade, Jazz, Children's, Variety, Ethnic, as well as a main stage seating 30,000. The festival moved to Soldier Field in 1983, but sadly, lost a lot of the magic that came with it being on the water at Navy Pier, so that would be the final ChicagoFest.
