Forklift Certification Institute of Omaha was established in 1983 as a technical college to train aspiring forklift operators and certify them in the ups and downs of palletized cargo management. While their hearts were in the right place, their funky motto was slightly off-putting to potential employers and a series of unfortunate accidents by graduates didn’t help their cause much, forcing the school to close in 1991.
