Fish Abstract ( first one ) Hoodie

Mixed media - it started out as a watercolour , but as I was still inexperienced, I wasn't totally happy with the result of watercolour alone. This was kind of an interesting exercise. I started out doing the layout with templates. I used french curves , rulers and all sorts of templates. My intension was to do an abstract. I was inspired by a painting I saw, by Paul Klee. It was a fish on a plate surrounded by random objects. I loved the fish, and how he painted the scales. Long story short, I started out with watercolour, and then later added coloured pencils and ink. I did this about 24 years ago, whilst still living in Canada.
