I'd been watching a video log on shooting waves and the chap mentioned about getting low... Thought that I'd use the same approach to get low on the whistling sands of my local beach... As the sun was setting I used a very fast vintage piece of glass, along with low ISO and low exposure. The aperture and time value was locked in as for convenience I was shooting Program mode and metering, I think was left on multi... This is the sunset and sand exposure that was produced... I've played around with basic settings on the computer... highlights, black point, sharpness and definition and not much else...
