A Baldwin Steam locomotive approaching the platform, This image has been given an impressionist oil painting finish. Built in Philadelphia in 1930. This 4-6-2 tender loco was destined for South Africa where it worked hauling limestone at Port Elizabeth. In the early 1990s it was purchased by the Brecon Mountain Railway and was restored between 1993 and 1997. It now hauls passengers on the scenic line from Pant near Merthyr Tydfil to Torpantau in the Brecon Beacons.This image has been produced in the style of an impressionist painting.
