The Viaduct is 442 yards (404m) long and 92 feet (28m) tall at its highest part. The Avon Aqueduct runs through the middle of Muiravonside Country Park. Formerly an estate owned by the Stirling Family of Falkirk, this 170 acre park comprises woodlands, parkland and the River Avon.
