Blue Marine 1 Monoprint Original Colours Hoodie

Blue Marine was originally a hand pulled monoprint printed onto fine white fabric instead of paper. I have done a number of monoprints featuring aquatic images and this one had shells as a theme. Some of the shells are clearly visible and others are just like shadows, meant to indicate the way in which the shells of our shellfish are dissolving away due to changes in the ocean's acidity, bought about by the effects of global warming.
