Ardmore - Totally Very Sucks

Minor league professional baseball began in Ardmore during the 1904 season. On August 5, 1904, the Texas League member franchise Paris Red Ravens relocated from Paris, Texas to Ardmore and became the Ardmore Territorians to finish the 1904 season. The team finished with a 26–75 overall record. Ardmore teams played as a minor league affiliate of the Cleveland Indians from 1947 to 1948, St. Louis Cardinals from 1953 to 1957 and Baltimore Orioles in 1961. Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Carl Hubbell played for the 1924 Ardmore Bearcats at age 21.

Founded in 1959, Clarke Bros. Heavy Transport started out as movers of houses and other structures, eventually expanding into heavy equipment and other oversized, overweight loads. By the mid-seventies, they had added a massive fleet of 200 Autocar dump trucks and began taking on earth moving contracts where tons of material needed to be relocated in a short amount of time. These jobs ranged from large construction site digs to mining operations, usually related to opening or closing a mine.

The Ada Herefords was a minor league baseball team based in Ada, Oklahoma. From 1947 to 1954, the Herefords played exclusively as a member of the Class D level Sooner State League, winning the league pennant in 1950. The Herefords were a minor league affiliate of the St. Louis Browns from 1947 to 1953 and remained an affiliate when St. Louis relocated to become the Baltimore Orioles in 1954. Ada Hosted minor league home games at Hereford Park.
