Perhaps one of the most commonly known uses of the number nine is its use in the nine-pointed star, which has become one of the popular symbols of the Baha’i Faith, and which is often used in Baha’i-related logos and jewellery world-wide. But Shoghi Effendi makes it clear that the nine-pointed star is not a part of the teachings of our Faith and it’s simply an emblem representing the number.

The maximum numbers of visitors received in a day are 150,000. Lotus temple signifies peace and purity. Lotus is the manifestation of God. The Great Being saith: Blessed and happy is he that ariseth to promote the best interests of the peoples and kindreds of the earth. In another passage He hath proclaimed: It is not for him to pride himself who loveth his own country, but rather for him who loveth the whole world. The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens.
