Barney Fife Hoodies

The show was filmed at Camp Pendleton, Desilu Studios's Desilu-Cahuenga, and RKO Forty Acres backlot, where The Andy Griffith Show was filmed. Though Ruben preferred the use of a multiple-camera setup for comedy programs, Gomer Pyle used a single-camera setup because much of the shooting was conducted outdoors. In his book And The Show Goes On, Sheldon Leonard explained that the armed forces offer levels of "cooperation" with filmmakers. Because the Marines felt that the show would be good for the branch's image, Gomer Pyle was given "total cooperation," meaning that the show was allowed unlimited access to military equipment.

This design was originally created for the 11th Mayberry Meet-up in 2023 but we thought it was fitting to update it to celebrate Don Knotts' 100th birthday on July 21, 2024.

"Opie's Poem" is especially for every Andy Griffith Show fan who loves Deputy Barney Fife.

This design is based on the classic painting, " The Scream" by Edvard Munch. The Furley, is a design that captures the essence of both modern art and classic TV-land.

Barney often calls Andy “Ange” on the show as his nickname, but what’s really interesting is that Knotts also called Griffith that in real life. Just combine “Andy” and “Griffith!”

In his career, Andy Griffith played many roles, but none has been as indelible on the public as his portrayal of Andy Taylor, the Sheriff of Mayberry.

Nostalgic Make America Mayberry Again Design

Floyd's Barbershop serves as the sole barbershop in the fictional small town of Mayberry, North Carolina. Floyd Lawson is the proud proprietor of the shop, and in addition to haircuts and shaves, the shop also serves as a gathering place for many of the men in the town to chat about the goings-on and current events. They often gather there to play checkers and gossip with one another, and women may occasionally enter the barber shop, this is seen as somewhat taboo and is a rare occurrence.
