Ross is a rocket shaped, fruit flavoured ice lolly who’s ready to blast off on a cool adventure with you. Sweet, vintage summery colours have been used in this to make your mouth water :) This was created in Photoshop. My muse has been quiet of late. I needed inspiration and found it in the aesthetics of Mondrian. I recalled the joy of producing such works as a child, without knowledge of rules nor form. Using Mondrian's rules, I created this work in Corel. Paintbrush marks have been deliberately left raw in this piece, so add an organic element to the work.

An alien sun sets as a moon rises. Dark, amorphous creatures flutter about overhead. Impossibly steep mountains and enormous twisted, dead trees reach into the sky above you. Rushing waters swirl around a distant island, housing a glowing citadel. The adventure awaits you..

Before you is a fictional creature whose body parts are taken from various extinct animals. Most of these animals have died out recently. With this work, I wanted to show the importance of preserving the life of animals that are currently on the verge of extinction.

My love of coffee and designs which read as one thing from a distance and another up close inspired this work. Safety yellow and black has been used throughout to indicate under-caffeinated danger to onlookers. A simple vector design created in Inkscape. This has been created with a clear background.
