Vintage pop culture

In the mid-'70s, Omega Man and Planet of the Apes were hot sci-fi films garnering a lot of public interest, so when you're looking for a new comic book title, why not merge themes from both hit movies and give it a vampire twist? Surely it can't lose, right? Sadly, 1975's Planet of Vampires didn't cut it and only made it for three issues before the title was canceled by its publisher.

Classic 1990's comic book homage to the original back alley crime fighter!

This is a homage to one of the greatest matches in boxing history, Ali versus Liston. Mirroring it to the world of anime and cartoons only two giants comes to mind. And this is the climax.
