THE Moon landing conspiracy THEORY claim that some or all elements of the Apollo program and the associated Moon landings were hoaxes staged by NASA. Conspiracy theorists claim that NASA and others knowingly misled the public into believing the landings happened, by manufacturing, tampering with, or destroying evidence. Filmmaker Stanley Kubrick is accused of having produced much of the footage for Apollos 11 and 12, presumably because he had just directed 2001: A Space Odyssey, which is partly set on the Moon and featured advanced special effects. The mockumentary based on this idea, Dark Side of the Moon, could have fueled the conspiracy theory.

Phil Schneider was a geologist tasked with building unimaginably huge underground military bases for the US government. One day he fell into an alien nest where they shot him with laser weapons multiple times and he was saved by a Green Beret. He then turned his alliegance to the conspiracy community where he felt he needed to tell the truth of what was going on; this was until he died of a suspicious suicide of course. Check out the episode!

You don't have to be an atheist to want to keep science in science class. Sarcastically urging schools to teach other pseudosciences, myths and discredited theories is a fine way to show your pro-science stance. Darwin would be proud!

If there is a creature alive beneath the waters of Loch Ness, just what exactly could it be? Theories abound and hoaxes come and go, but the legend of Nessie lives on. Is she merely a crafty plesiosaur that somehow survived through the ages? Or she is just some kind of fish mutated by the effluent from the nearby haggis packing factory?
