This is the South-Western Sight of Hohentwiel Fortress Ruins in Singen, Germany in the evening sun. It is the largest fortress ruins in Germany with almost nine hectares. From the Hohentwiel you have a fabulous view across the Lake Constance to Switzerland with its rolling hills of the Thurgau region and the Alps behind. Every year in July there is a huge festivity within the ruins for almost one week. Lots of bands are playing different kind of music and also concerts are taking place. You don't need a Bollenhut to show that you come from the most beautiful region in Germany. This cool design with firs and deer proves that you come from the Ländle in the southwest.

This photo was taken in the Butterfly House on the Lake Constance's island "Mainau". A very famous island because of its botanic gardens which contains a large variety of plants.
