I was inspired by the fantasy and sci-fi movies I grew up with. This is one of a series. Original 11x17 Mixed media. February 2019

This was created as a gift for my mother a few winters back. We have a thing for owls. My mother is a very talented painter. She had painted an owl for her mother when she was young, so I painted an owl for my mother. The original is ink, prisma color pencil and marker, acrylic on Bristol board 16x20’’

Had a blast with this. Every once in a while I like to do this. It’s a drawing exercise where you try to combine two or more different elements. In this case, I chose an elephant and octopus. The more different, the more challenging.

This was also originally designed to be a tattoo. Loved it! Made it into a digital painting.

I really enjoyed putting this together. I like nature and incorporating flowers into many of my pieces. This was originally intended to be a tattoo. I liked it so much I decided to fully render it.

This was one of the first pieces I did in procreate. It was more of an experimentation of the tools. Came out really nice.

I’ve always been drawn to Thai and Hindu lore and paintings. This is loosely based on the idea of K?li. The original is 11x35” Ink and acrylic Because of the available sizing. I can only have the bust of her. The original is a full body portrait.
