Mandalore, also known as Mand'alor, was a planet located in the Outer Rim Territories. It was the homeworld of the Mandalorians, a fearsome warrior clan-based people, and the indigenous Alamite species. The Mandalorians once fought the Jedi and raided their temple during the fall of the Old Republic. Wearing distinctive armor that was often made from Beskar, they were feared throughout the galaxy, and once had political influence over two thousand other star systems.

The Shadow Collective was a large criminal alliance and rival Sith Order founded during the Clone Wars by the rogue Sith Lord Maul. Partly founded at the behest of Mother Talzin, Maul aimed to threaten the plans of the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious as well as to compete with him for galactic power. Among its goals, it sought to defeat both the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic. During the war, Maul rallied the forces of Death Watch, Black Sun, the Pyke Syndicate, the Hutt Clan, and the Nightbrothers to form a considerable base of power.

LiMerge Power was a company that once owned a tower in The Works, an industrial district of the ecumenopolis Coruscant. By 22 BBY, LiMerge had abandoned that skyscraper, which Darth Sidious used as his secret lair.

Palps

Pulsar Supertanker was a company allied with the Trade Federation. It was not as consumed with the bottom line as the rest of the Federation, which led to its expulsion from the organization. It was a young Nute Gunray's testimony to the Trade Federation Directorate against the company that first brought him to the attention of Darth Sidious.
