Dikdiks form monogamous pairs in fixed territories of low bush along dry, rocky stream beds. They mark their territory with dung deposits & with secretions from the preorbital gland. Dikdiks live in various habitats with good cover and plentiful browse. At maturity they weigh up to 12bls & are 14in at the shoulder. They are one of the smallest antelopes.
