A digital sketch of an abandoned and derelict farm shed standing folornly in the corner of a meadow - but with its own particular charm and beauty! The corrugated iron cladding may be rusting but the structure is still standing and perhaps is still useful for storing fodder or tools away from any inclement weather!

Once a safe and comfortable family home is now abandoned and struggles with plant ovegrowth for survival. A digital illustration I created using Photoshop CC 2018 & Topaz Impression. Reference source was a digital photo I took while vacatioing in Maine.

An old, wooden, broken dinghy sits on the white plastered roof top of a building in Thira, santorini, Greece with the arid brown hills and Mediterranean beyond.

On a trip to Price Edward County in Ontario, I happened to drive past the Picton Airport. I believe is was at one time an air force station. Across the road were a pair of buildings that I suspect were part of that establishment, but long since abandoned. I'm not sure of the their purpose, but they might have been barracks for the personnel. Today, they sit apparently unused, boarded-up, but the texture of the cedar shingles on the walls made them both very visually appealing. This image is of the entrance to one of the buildings. I really loved the tired old door, the well trodden doorstep, even the old cyan-coloured paint on the door, which was still in quite good shape where it had been protected by the porch roof.
