Lucky Eleven Records was a record label started in 1959 in Flint, Michigan by Otis Ellis and Chuck Slaughter. The independent label later became distributed by Philadelphia-based Cameo-Parkway Records which featured the Flint-based pop band Terry Knight and the Pack. The Lucky Eleven and Cameo-Parkway recordings are now owned by ABKCO Records..a re-issue label which includes the re-release of Cameo-Parkway product.

Originally an NPC concept for Rudra, I liked her design so much that I broke her off into her own fantasy universe. The second time I drew her, I wanted to have a slain beast in the background. That beast turned into a relaxing dragon, which then became her best friend. And yet, after 7 years I STILL didn't have a name for this guy. So meet Flint, Noa's other half. His name is obviously derived from fire, but also because her armor is comprised of his baby scales (hence the blue color). It's a double meaning played fast and loose. Black Sails

This is one of my favorite paintings, partly because you don’t have to be a Whovian to appreciate the Victorian portrait of Jenny Flint, a super hero member of the Paternoster Gang. I got the inspiration from a scene in which Jenny was posing for Madame Vastra (Jenny’s wife) who stood at an easel, appearing to paint. Much to Jenny’s dismay, Madame Vastra was actually working on a case instead of painting. I decided that Jenny’s pose shouldn’t go to waste, so I gave her the painting that she deserves. Also, Jenny kicks ass. I freaking love her.

Flint-style refers to the type of Coney dog that is served in Coney Island restaurants and diners in Michigan. A true Flint style Coney is a hot dog served on a steamed bun with Coney sauce, onions and mustard only. The key is that Flint style must use the dry, loose meat Coney sauce NOT red sauce or chili sauce and NO beans or sauerkraut.
