Gaunt Hoodies
Description: this banshee has main character wingspan — like the entire tattered red cloak IS the design, arms just barely visible underneath. wispy hair going full horror-movie mode, skull grin peeking through, one red eye just... watching. she takes up the whole canvas and she knows it. Part of aswIDN Archives, Dark Feminine collection. Some grief never learned how to go quiet.
Description: "Shocking and uncouth black things with smooth, oily, whale-like surfaces, unpleasant horns that curved inward toward each other, bat wings whose beating made no sound, ugly prehensile paws, and barbed tails that lashed needlessly and disquietingly. And worst of all, they never spoke or laughed, and never smiled because they had no faces at all to smile with, but only a suggestive blankness where a face ought to be. All they ever did was clutch and fly and tickle; that was the way of night-gaunts." -H.P. Lovecraft, The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath
Description: In the comic universe of Grimjack, Munden’s Bar serves as a tonal counterpoint to the majority of the stories taking place in this post apocalyptic universe. Infamously, the title character John Gaunt is the proprietor of Munden’s, though Gordon Munden handles management later after Grimjack supposedly dies. Like any good SFF bar, many of the patrons appear to be passing through from other worlds. Specifically, Munden’s feature dead-ringers for Iron Man, as well as a couple named Bruce and Selina who were probably analogs for Batman and Catwoman. Even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stopped in here for pizza. Cowabunga?
