A design inspired by the beauty and symmetry of Rose Curves. In mathematics, a rose or rhodonea curve is a sinusoid plotted in polar coordinates. This design features a grid of curves representative of the number of points (n) from left to right by row from 1 - 9, similarly the number of degrees (d) from top to bottom by column from 1 - 9. The curves were created with polygon density plots and specially generated data in R. The colours were created with the Viridis, Plasma and Inferno colour palettes in perpetual shades of blue green yellow, blue red yellow and black red yellow respectively.

The pun "Yes We GAN" alludes to a type of algorithm for unsupervised machine learning, the so-called Generative Adversarial Network (GAN). GANs consist of two artificial neural networks: the generator (G) and the discriminator (D). The generator tries to generate, for example, photorealistic images, while the discriminator tries to identify these "fakes" and tell them apart from real images. Both networks use deep learning to get better at their respective jobs, until the generator is able to create images that look deceptively real. This humorous design is perfect for anyone who is interested in deep learning, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, pattern recognition and technology.
