Glam Hoodies
Description: Founded in 1973, Zolar X is a proto-punk glam rock band that became legendary on the West Coast for dressing and acting like space-aliens 24 hours a day. They spoke ceaselessly in an "alien language" of their own invention, which would amuse, but often infuriate, the public at large. Considered to be LA's first glam rock band, Zolar X's outlandish image was only matched by their over the top performances, otherworldly stage sets, and their unique brand of glitter-space-rock. They were the house band at the famous English Disco, and played with countless acts throughout the '70s.

Description: A bold, street‑art inspired work that pairs rebellious attitude with glossy glamour. At center is a black stencil silhouette of a suited figure wearing oversized round glasses, with expressive paint drips trailing downward. The background is a playful pink field with faint diagonal border stripes and scattered confetti‑like spots, while the right side features the blunt slogan TOO GLAM TO GIVE A DAMN in heavy black type. A shiny golden‑brown five‑petal flower emblem sits beneath the line, adding a luxe, ironic flourish that heightens the contrast between grit and glam.
