'Glenelg Jetty at sunset' seascape oil painting was created from a reference photo I captured while standing on the Glenelg beach one evening. Glenelg is Adelaide's most popular beach only 20mins from the city and boasting many shops and restaurants on its jetty road.

I captured the reference photo for the 'Glenelg beach' oil painting on the beach of Glenelg, Adelaide, South Australia. It was a quiet winters morning and I knew I wanted to paint this scene when viewing the soft pastel colours of this seascape. The Glenelg beach is the most popular city beach of Adelaide.

To be under a jetty is great for my senses. I can take in the smell of the wood and sea and watch the water lapping against the poles. Do you also enjoy being under a jetty?. This painting was created from a reference photo I took while standing under the Glenelg jetty, Adelaide. I am currently creating a series of jetty paintings from reference photos I am capturing along the South Australian coastline.
