Here be dragons. This is what cartographers used to put on the edge of their maps when they didn't know what was out there.

Uncharted territories of the early maps were marked with the warning: “Here be dragons.” Cartographers filled these areas with illustrations of dragons, sea monsters and other mythological creatures. Programmers use this phrase to refer to code that is completely unreadable but somehow works.

Old maps used to say 'There Be Dragons' when the cartographers didn't know what was off the edge of the map. Now, it's an adventure.
