Description: To show thanks to atomic veterans for their sacrifice, you can spend some time writing letters or creating cards. By doing so, at least they will know that they are appreciated. If you know veterans, it’s the best time to reach out to them. Remember to thank them for their service to the country. You may want to hear about their experiences during the nuclear tests and the atomic bombings. You can also personally offer some help in case they need it.
