Leaving the driveway before afternoon, when the asphalt is still freezing and the engine takes time to warm up, guarantees you will not encounter chatty neighbors or annoying traffic. Clutching a heated beverage while straddling a rumbling machine sets the stage for a spectacular disappearance. Your singular goal is to twist the throttle and ride until cellular reception completely vanishes.
