These ducklings were huddled together under the watchful eye of their mother. They were very cute and I couldn't wait to draw them in coloured pencil.

A winter tree, branches without leaves, standing bare against the winter elements, yet it creates a beautiful frame for the light to shine through. Mixed media painting in acrylics and coloured pencil.

This painting was inspired by my youngest nephew. Whilst visiting a country park he spontaneously hugged the trees. I had my camera handy and captured the moment, later using the photograph as a reference to create the painting in acrylics.
