Knots Chart Hoodies

Description: Ten essential knots drawn as clear rope diagrams, from the overhand and figure-eight to the bowline, sheet bend, clove hitch and round turn with two half hitches, each with what it is for. A vintage ink-on-cream guide for sailors, scouts, campers and climbers.

Description: The knot every climber ties before leaving the ground, in three steps: tie a figure eight, thread the harness, follow it back. Then dress it, set it, check it - and check your partner. The knot drawing is geometrically checked to be a true figure eight. A reminder, not a lesson: learn to tie in from a qualified instructor. My own drawing in two solid colors. The version for light garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/99635013
