There are few actors as suited to the role of a werewolf as Oliver Reed. The dude was a couple of whiskers shy of being the real deal, which makes his performance in Hammer's 1961 classic The Curse of the Werewolf all the more interesting. This is my take on the film's poster, which leans heavily into the Famous Monsters of Filmland esthetic. I also made sure Reed got top billing this time.

My continued love for horror and monsters shines through with this concept. This design also has another one of my original woodcut block prints. The block print is of a werewolf. The concept mainly acts as a warning of the full moon because we all know what happens when a full moon is out! Enjoy!

This design is inspired by my love for the desert and werewolves. This design also involves mixed media of pen and ink as well as use of Adobe Illustrator.

All right, so I will admit that the events of last night were not optimal and that there was a lot of destruction that went on, but I can't be blamed for that solely. To be fair, it was a full moon and I just don't do well with that. Obviously I feel for those poor folks, but when you're a Lycanthrope sometimes accidents happen. Now if you had a been there to hold me back maybe things would've turned out different. So I guess what I'm saying is it's essentially your fault.

Saturn is the farthest planet from Earth that we can see with the naked eye. While the moon is the most common celestial body associated with lycanthropy, some werewolves and therians shift forms through the influence of Saturn.

Bailey Downs was a small, rural community that was the subject of a string of mysterious, unexplained animal attacks. This creature, dubbed the Beast of Bailey Downs, was in fact a werewolf and transmitted the curse of lycanthropy to sixteen-year-old Ginger Fitzgerald.
