Description: Another watercolour painting for my collection of Animal and Nature pieces. I initially struggled with this piece, I think the reference image I used to work from wasn’t the best, but the end result turned out alright. I also used Faber Castell pencils on this piece to soften the brush strokes with the help of a fellow artist who specializes in pencil work.

This is a group of 22 individuals with three Silver Backs. The top Silver Back leads the family through the jungle and has mating rights with all the females. Description: This was one of many gorillas in a group that we were able to spend an hour with in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Uganda. We didn't even need to hike very far to see this amazing group and spend quality time with them. It's an experience I recommend to everyone!
