It is described as being 40-50 feet long, with smooth dark green or black skin, multiple humps, and a head resembling a horse, goat or reptile, sometimes with small horns or antlers. The first detailed description of the creature was recorded by pioneer Susan Allison in 1872, and sightings continue to be reported to this day.
