Scott is a young Canadian slacker and musician who finds himself caught up in a series of battles against the League of Evil Exes, the former boyfriends of Ramona , the girl he's pursuing. Scott is known for his awkwardness, his love for video games and indie music, and his journey towards self-discovery and maturity throughout the series. He faces various challenges, both in his romantic life and his personal growth, as he navigates the surreal world of the series.

Ramona is the object of Scott's affection and the primary love interest in the series. Ramona is depicted as a mysterious and enigmatic young woman with an ever-changing hair color and a past filled with tumultuous relationships. She has a unique style and personality, often described as cool and aloof, but also vulnerable underneath her tough exterior. Throughout the series, Ramona serves as both a catalyst for Scott's growth and a source of conflict as he navigates the challenges of dating her while confronting her seven evil exes.

They have a song called "I Am So Sad. I Am So Very Very Sad" and they also have a girl drummer. A formidable band for sure, but it is Scott Pilgrim's book/movie/game so they were never going to win.
